Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Arcturus LLC (“Arcturus,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with this website. We keep data collection to a minimum and do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
Information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to provide, together with limited technical data needed to operate the site:
- Information you submit. When you use our contact form or inquire about an engagement, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, organization or affiliation, sector interests, any professional profile link, and the content of your message.
- Technical and log data. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.
- Functional storage. The site stores a single functional item in your browser’s session storage so our introductory animation does not replay during a visit. It contains no personal data, is not used for tracking, and is cleared when you close the tab.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics suites, marketing pixels, or cross-site trackers. Because the only browser storage we use is strictly necessary to operate the site, no consent banner is required. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide any choices the law requires.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
- To evaluate and carry out potential or active engagements.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and respond to you, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Form delivery. Contact form submissions are transmitted through Web3Forms, which forwards them to us by email. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Hosting and infrastructure. The site is served by our hosting provider, which processes technical log data on our behalf.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Data retention and security
We retain inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our communications, then delete or archive it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. We honor these requests regardless of residency where practical.
- California (CCPA/CPRA). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may ask what we have collected. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- EU/UK (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you may object to certain processing. Our lawful bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiries.
To exercise any right, contact us at info@arcturusintel.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
International visitors
We operate from the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Children
This site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
